Born in 1979, Emma Booth spent the formative years of her life living in the Westcountry. She moved to London for a while, but was lured back by the colour green and people who actually smile. She now lives in Devon where the wild animals are her friends and eat out of the palm of her hand.
Traumatised at an early age by Ghostbusters, Emma became a film fanatic. Along with her love of horrors, she counts It's A Wonderful Life, Amelie and For The Boys as three of her favourite films. This adoration of the moving image led her to Bournemouth and a degree in Television and Video Production. After working in several TV/film production companies (taking a tangent off into radio and travel bulletins) she now works from home writing.
At the same time, having sung her lungs blue with classical and musical numbers as a teenager, she sings in a local rock band. Her idols are David Bowie, Pink Floyd and Kate Bush, with a growing appreciation for Joni Mitchell.
Still very much a child, Emma likes fairy lights and anything shiny. She also enjoys making up words and lives in a constant state of enthusiasm that causes her to be silly and dance around a lot.
