Laura has just completed a Masters at the Courtauld Institute, specialising in eighteenth-century British art, and has spent the last few months researching George Romney's Liverpool Cartoons. She is interested in a wide range of arts, but particularly enjoys writing about classical music and opera.
Recent thrills include Salome at Royal Opera, Thomas Adès' video ballet In Seven Days, and being shocked and scandalised (as instructed) by the RA Summer Exhibition. Current distractions include Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust and Roger Deakin's travel journals, Waterlog and Wildwood.
