With a primarily legal background, Mike ended up writing reviews having been brow-beaten into submission by one of the editors and giving in after one pint too many. He finds it much more interesting than watching TV and it gives him a great opportunity to vent some spleen at people who insist on releasing utter rubbish.

Mike lists his hobbies as drinking, partying, shopping, gassing badgers and trying to find homes for all the CDs that land on his doormat each week. He has an acerbic sense of humour, is deep enough to realise he's shallow and quite happily admits to the fact that even his emotional bagagge is Gucci.
