Sara McDonnell, Contributing Writer, musicOMH

Sara McDonnell, 32, has worked at an entertainment press agency and content-managed the now-defunct music website WembleyTV.com.

Earliest memories: listening to her parents' '60s record collection and seeing Gary Numan performing Are Friends Electric? on Top of the Pops. Both have led to a lasting partiality for guitar pop and heavy synths.

A native North Londoner now living in Walthamstow, Sara has been in bands herself so when she sees up and coming acts playing the usual toilets, she feels their pain. She now edits Hotcourses magazine and writes for various publications and websites, including musicOMH.
