Classical Editor: Simon Thomas
Simon Thomas Simon began his career in book production for publishers Hodder and Stoughton and then took a BA (Hons) in Theatre Arts at the Rose Bruford College (graduated 1983).

Most of his professional life has been spent in the theatre, in a number of capacities. He has lived in a Buddhist community, has two gorgeous children - Phoebe, 10 and Freddie, 8 - and now lives with his partner Fiona in Kilburn.

He has been going to opera, classical concerts and theatre for 35 years. He started writing for musicOMH in 2006 and has been editing the Opera/Classical section since February 2007. He also writes theatre reviews (as well as the occasional film one) for the site.

Treasured memories include seeing Peter Pears, Lucia Popp, Nicolai Gedda, Gundula Janowitz, Jon Vickers, Agnes Baltsa and the Reginald Goodall Ring. He kicks himself for having missed the opportunity to see Janet Baker and Carlo Bergonzi.

Another great hero - Bob Dylan - he has caught up with in recent years.
