Agent Blue have been building up quite a buzz for themselves over the last year or so, but the general consensus seems to be that their explosive live energy hasn't quite translated onto their studio records just yet.

Children's Children though is an excellent slab of big, dirty rock, with crashing guitars, a big chorus and lead singer Nic Andrews sounding for all the world like Joe Strummer.

The post-Libertines market is somewhat crowded at the moment, but with the forthcoming release of the marvellously titled A Stolen Honda Vision on the horizon, Agent Blue could well shoulder charge their way in there.
