Blur - Out Of Time (Food)
UK release date: April 14 2003
Blur - Out Of Time
There were some doomsayers who said Blur were finished without Graham Coxon. How could a band who thrived on the creative tension between Coxon and Damon Albarn possibly scale the same heights as before?

Quite easily, as it turns out. Out Of Time is a deliciously languid single, with Albarn's voice tinged with regret and sounding better than ever. There's no sign of the much heralded Fatboy Slim influence as yet, in fact this is closer to the quieter moments on the Thirteen album.

For those who feared Blur may not be the same, worry not. This is more evidence that they're still amongst the finest bands in Britain today.
