Bronze Age Fox's follow up to the exciting Dinosaur/Show Me Something More rolls the genre dice once again, and they come up trumps, again.

Instrument Pt 1 is luscious (just about) ska for a sunny summer's day. The brass swells and recedes like the waves of an ocean of funk. Forty Four however is different again. This time more melancholy in feeling but with the same air-tight, funked up rhythm and an extremely catchy vocal melody.

Bronze Age Fox really are rather talented. Jones is blessed with a beautiful voice, and the ability to write engaging, witty lyrics. What more do you want from a singer? As a band they come across as having a great musical understanding, and they ooze originality and cool. It's time people stood up and noticed.
