Remember UK garage? When the Artful Dodger and DJ Luck and MC Neat were taking an essentially underground style of music to the pub on the corner?
A late 1990s phenomenon, yes, but perhaps not one we remain especially proud of. And here's The Count, trying to persuade us that it really was a good thing. But then he's tapping more into the bits of the style that did make it appealing - a bouncy beat owing more than a little to Todd Edwards, a smattering of attitude from Kid Sister's vocals and a refrain plucked out of Fatboy Slim's closet.
This refrain will make or break the song - intensely annoying to some, but try taking it out your head after a few listens. Far easier to hit the floor and dance to the easily funky bass line, while marveling at the fact that Domino have suddenly developed an eye for a good club tune.
