Worry About It Later, the Futurehead's latest offering from the album News And Tributes, feels like the flotsam and jetsam washed up after the storm of the band's recent success.
Knowing how powerful and insanely energetic the Futureheads can does somewhat raise the expectations for the single, which only works against it. For most groups Worry About It Later might well be received as a perfectly acceptable effort, supported by ok lyrics and a good tempo (along with a great intro). However, knowing the Futureheads past work makes the single pale in comparison - it seems weak and lacklustre, with a poor attempt at a 'message' which the band usually doesn't try.
It feels like this single is a perfect case of a work being completely overshadowed by what went before it - if you don't know by now that News and Tributes is worth a buy, then this single won't help you along the way. Unimpressive stuff.
