If you thought Paris had the monopoly on fashionable French house music, this single from Marseilles duo Galleon should shatter your illusions.

They interweave big '80s synth sounds with an unashamedly French vibe, practiced already by the likes of Modjo, Daft Punk, Etienne de Crecy, Alex Gopher and Telepopmusik.

The resulting melange suggests Duran Duran had much more influence on dance music than has been acknowledged. Galleon - dance, drive, get the French vibe.
