Rock'n'roll New York style, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion's She Said comes across as The Rolling Stones getting together with The Strokes and Dr John for a benefit tribute gig in aid of James Brown's voice. The energy emanating from the record is impressive.

It is the first single to be taken from forthcoming album 'Plastic Fang', their first release since 1999. It is not a cover of Longpigs' single of the same title.

The backing tracks feature collaborations with said New Orleans legend Dr John and Funkadelic keyboardist Bernie Worrell.
