It's always been said that everyone needs a hobby. For some people it's sport or gardening, but for Hollywood A-lister Juiette Lewis it's releasing cracking good pieces of punk rock. With a voice that's a mixture of Joan Jett and Janis Joplin with added gravel, Lewis simply blows you away with this track.
To say this is addictive would be a monumental understatement. The lyrics worm their way into your subconscious with amazing velocity, and the chorus will be going round in your head for a long time after the first listen. Lewis' vocals integrate perfectly with the guitars and drums that all combine to give this the perfect combination of heat, sweat and savagery.
Many people are disparaging of actors who try to sing and singers who try to act. In a lot of instances it's deserved, but not in this case. With an album out in soon and a UK tour about to kick off, you can expect to hear a lot more of Lewis et al over the coming months.
