Yes, another reality TV star. Yet this one's just 16 years old, wears a baseball cap sideways for no apparent reason and sports a rather annoying grin that seems to beg "punch me! punch me!".
Yet against all the odds, Lil Chris is actually pretty damn good. As a graduate of Gene Simmons' Rock School, recently shown on Channel 4, you'd expect this to be all power chords and big choruses, but instead a naggingly insistent synth riff drives the song along. Chris' vocals are yelpy and infectious and there's a nervous energy about the whole affair that stands it in good stead.
Judgement may have to be withheld until his debut album's released, but all the early signs are that Lil' Chris isn't half as annoying as he would appear to be.
