Certain publications have been getting their pretentious little knickers moist over this Brighton lot - the presumably ironically-monickered The Ordinary Boys.

To be fair, they aren't half bad, although if a band could sound any more like Jam copyists I'm yet to hear them.

The guitars, drums and vocals are spunky and confident, the chorus predictable but effective, and there's even a mini guitar solo tucked into these two minutes and 20 seconds. With household producer Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur) in tow, what could go wrong? Maybe they should ask These Animal Men...
