American rock/pop band Orson have had a whirlwind year. Since their signing in December 2005 both their debut album and single have reached the coveted number 1 spot in the UK charts, they’ve toured with Robbie Williams and Duran Duran and they were nominated for Best New Act at the Q Awards. It’s the stuff aspiring wannabe bands dream of.

Already Over, about the end of a sour relationship (it even includes the line "You’re a psycho bitch from hell"), is single number four off their debut platinum-selling album Bright Idea and yes, it’s another good anthemic, guitar-driven catchy tune.

In the fickle world of pop, it’s been suggested that Orson may have as much sticking power as two-year-old Pritt Stick, but they’re already showing potential durability. The new Sugababes single Easy is penned by Orson singer Jason Pebworth and guitarist George Astasio. Give ‘em a chance.
