They may not be as fresh-faced and athletic as they used to be, but the reinvented man band is continuing its resurgence with a brand new grandma friendly ballad that's going to be a fixture on various radio station playlists in the coming months.
This particular offering is also the theme tune for the film Stardust, a fantasy romance starring the usual suspects from the British acting stable with assorted Hollywood faces for good measure and some extra box-office oomph.
If anyone else had released this, with the possible exception of Westlife, it would hover around the lower echelons of the charts for a week or two if it was lucky, but these guys have proved they can still rouse their fans so it should do reasonably well. It's a little insipid, but pleasant enough and strangely listenable in its own way.
