This CD comes with the not-very-reassuring promise that you can "Catch VD on the Web". Thankfully, this does not refer to nasty illnesses, but rather to Violent Delight, who along with the likes of Kinesis, are flying the St George Flag for homegrown, aggressive but ultimately tuneful punk.

All You Ever Do may well be the band's best single yet, boasting full-throttle, buzzsaw guitars and a deceptively memorable chorus to boot. Its master-stroke, however, is a thrash metal instrumental workout three-quarters of the way through, which enables it to rise above otherwise possible Sum 41-wannabe status.

With a guest guitar appearance from Ill Nino's Marc Rizzo, and mixing by Anthrax's Rob Caggiano, it seems that Violent Delight are having no trouble winning friends and influencing people. This single should see them maintaining this progress.
