Contributing Writer: Taras Binns
Taras Binns Recently graduated, Taras is trying to avoid the real world by stumbling out of Uni and straight into the music industry.

He works as a Promotions Assistant at the Leadmill gig venue in Sheffield, doing everything from writing press releases and gig reviews to buying the riders.

As a freelancer, Taras also spends much of his time distributing his scribbling notes to a number of music publications. He admits to be as skint as when he was a student, but he's kept motivated by the amazing perks.

He was first inspired musically by Radiohead and later Muse before being sucked into the whole Libertines saga and everything it has done for music till this day. Taras has a passion for listening to new bands and the Leadmill provides him with the ideal opportunity as a young music journalist. And so any value of Taras' Journalism degree is being put on hold as he tries to make a living out of writing about gigs rather than rising taxes, and interviewing bands rather than MPs. How long this illusion will continue remains to be seen.
