Contributing Writer: Tom Woods
Tom Woods

Born in Reading on September 26th, 1986, Tom has been surrounded by the music of Radios 1, 2, 3, 4 and yes, even 5, since (probably) conception.

Tom took up an interest in music reviews at the tender age of 15, in an attempt to raise awareness about the still-vibrant music scene of Berkshire, of which he was a part in his own band Inuit Monk. Now a bandless, penny-saving student at Cardiff University, Tom pays close attention to the shifting trends of today's music scene, whilst broadening his childhood influences of R.E.M, Richard Thompson and Ali Farka Toure.

Musical favourites, June 2006: Tool, Guillemots, Muse.
