Uma Uthayashanker, Past Contributing Writer, musicOMH

Currently residing in the good ol' town of New Malden (don't act like you've never heard of it!), Uma lives, breathes and thinks music. Hoping to study Media Studies and Journalism at university, Uma - aged 17 - enjoys going to gigs, making new friends and the odd bit of socialising (however tempting it is to spend night and day with her computer).

Loves: Alice In Chains, The Cure, The Smiths, The Police, Blink 182, Biffy Clyro, Madness - and on the films front: Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, Clockwork Orange, The Wedding Singer, A League of Their Own, The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Hates: Rude, ignorant and obnoxious people. Tom Cruise. Anne Robinson's 'wink'.

Greatest celebrity encounter: Meeting Richard O'Brien at a gig.
